What are Initial Exchange Offerings?

    The Initial Exchange Offerings (IEO) are fundraising events performed on the popular exchange platforms, for example, Binance, Bittrex, etc. They are different from ICOs where a project team uses its own website or platform to hold the event. IEO participants can purchase IEO tokens on the exchange directly with a higher level of convinience and trust. This is a new form of token offering allowing users to trade their purchased tokens on the same exchange later. They shouldn't worry about the place where the token will be traded - they know for sure there will be at least one big exchange. One more benefit is simplicity, the user only needs a registered exchange account to participate. Usually IEO projects are carefully verified by the exchange staff lowering the chances of scam or investing in unprofessional teams.
